Marrs has Watermelon Day every year. The teachers do watermelon related activities with their classes, then the entire school (all 700+ of us!) go outside for watermelon. Garrett's Pre-K class is only half days and he goes in the morning. So, they had their activities and watermelon before the rest of the school. My principal is such a wonderful lady...I got to leave my classroom for a bit to see Garrett!
Yum-O...Watermelon!
This is Garrett, Spencer, and Austin. They have been in the same classes together since they were 1 at the ECC. 
Garrett has worn sunglasses since he was a little over a year old. He takes them EVERYWHERE! A few of the other boys had to start bringing theirs to school for recess time too!
