Garrett's Field Trip to the ZOO!!

So, my last post was that I went on a field trip with Gunner to the zoo on Tuesday. Then I went with Garrett on his Pre-K field trip to the zoo on Friday. (This momma was a little bit tired from TWO zoo trips in one week!) It was fun spending the day with just Garrett though!

Okay, a little sappy moment here... Garrett rode the carousel, gulp, sniff, by HIMSELF. He didn't want me to ride with him. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT??? Isn't 4 a little young to be too cool for your momma?
We hung out with some of Garrett's good friends in his class. I don't know who had more fun...the kids or the moms! Two of the other kids are teacher's kids and also go to the daycare with Garrett.

I couldn't resist this awesome pic of the kiddos checking out the penguin. If you look closely, you can see that there is a penguin RIGHT THERE on the other side of the glass. It just kept craning it's neck down and looking at the kids like they were the ones on display!

We had a GREAT day. The weather turned out really nice and the rain cleared away. Again, I am very blessed to get to attend my kids' field trips so I won't complain ONE BIT about visiting the zoo twice in one week!
