Easter 2010

Grant and I were in charge of the church Easter Egg Hunt this year. It was a lot of fun, but it was a LOT of work. It was my...excuse me...OUR very first time, so we didn't quite know what to expect. We ended up filling 2,000 eggs! Every kid walked away with TOO MUCH candy, but it was super fun. Next year, I am ordering some trinket type stuff from Oriental Trading and probably putting some cash in others in addition to the candy.

Garrett was an egg-hunting pro and looked STINKIN' ADORABLE in his button up shirt. Too bad he won't wear stuff like this more often!

Gunner totally knew what to do and wasted no time getting eggs. However, one or two eggs and he was finding a cozy spot to sit and eat whatever was inside! He had chocolate EVERYWHERE by the time he was done!
Gunner thought THIS was a much better use for the bucket! ADORABLE!
Yes, my boys were "matchy-matchy" but I LOVED how CUTE they were! They rocked those shirts with their blonde hair and blue eyes!! And, who would have guessed that it would have been so warm on Easter? It'll be another 10 years before that happens again! This was my one and only chance at matching plaid shorts and polos and I blew it! Oh well...if I can just convince Grant to try for that girl...
