Gunner participates in OPAT, Oklahoma Parents as Teachers, and they took a field trip to the zoo on Tuesday of this past week. I had an absolute blast spending the day with just Gunner. We also got to hang out with Gunner's best bud Carson. Not only are he and Carson in the same class at daycare, but Carson's momma teaches at my school.

Carson and Gunner were not at all too sure of those funky Mayan statue things at the entrance to the rain forest.
The boys LOVED hanging out together. We even got a pic with BOTH of them with their shades on!
Gunner really loves the carousel now. Well, he loves it for about 2 minutes and then he is over the love and ready for something else. He had to get on the deer, of course! Look at how big and grown up he is here...sniff, sniff.
My little man is changing and growing before my eyes. Mr. Independent had to climb the stairs to see the chimpanzees!0
We loved our day together at the zoo. The weather was PERFECT! I am so blessed to get to go on field trips with my kiddos and see all of the things that some parents miss out on because their jobs or bosses restrict them too much. Blessed, blessed, blessed!
