Day 4...Epcot

We spent Tuesday at Epcot. Like the other days we were in Florida, it was hot and humid. They had a neat little splash pad and misting station set up. So, while the group went to ride Mission: Space we played in the water! Gunner loved it!
There was a neat Finding Nemo ride along with an aquarium. The boys enjoyed the ride but especially loved seeing all of the dolphins, sea turtles, and other sea life in the huge aquariums.
I felt like Epcot had a recurring theme...make less of an impact on the Earth and take care of our environment. I don't know, maybe Al Gore has some Disney stock or something! It is a good message though. There was a ride you could take through their controlled garden areas. They were growing EVERYTHING and trying all kinds of innovative pest control methods, innovative watering methods, and all sorts of cool stuff. The guide told us that a lot of the food they serve was grown there.
Cute pic of Grant and Gunner on the ride through the gardens...

We left Epcot after getting to the edge of Canada. It had been raining and part of our group was ready to head back to the Villa. So we had to leave Epcot without making it around to all of the countries. I hope to go back in a few years so we can experience all of that park. There aren't a ton of rides there, but lots of neat stuff to see.
