Day 7...Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach

On our last day in Florida we went to Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach. Kennedy was neat, but not nearly what I was anticipating. Maybe it's because we had limited time and had been razzled and dazzled by Disney. We did however get to see a rocket launch! Let me clarify...launch time had been delayed a billion times already that day and then suddenly someone hollered that it had launched, we ran outside, and caught a few minutes of it. If you look at the palm tree on the left, to the right of the trunk and in the leaves there is a light...that was the rocket. Grant did get video of it though and it was neat to see it. It was the first commercial rocket...I think that is what they said anyways.
Here we are at the beach. Doesn't the top of Garrett's head look great? (argh!!)
Gavin and Garrett loved playing in the waves! Yes, our kids just wore their clothes! We brought swim stuff but it was getting late and we just figured we'd change them afterwards!
Gunner playing in the sand...
I see people do this all the time on their honeymoons and what not, so I had to do it for us too!

Day 8...leaving Florida. :-( It was bittersweet. I wish we could have stayed longer because we were having such a great time, but it was nice to be back home in our own bed. We do plan on going back in a few years though!
