Disney Day 3...The Magic Kingdom!

On our third day, Monday, we went to The Magic Kingdom. The kids really loved all of the rides, the food, the entertainment, and, really, the magic of it all. Again, having a blogger-relapse and loaded the pics in reverse...probably my best indicator that I don't blog enough!

We actually went back to the Villas for a little while so the boys are wearing different shirts thanks to all of the sweat and snacks they managed to share with their shirts!

At the end of the night at 9pm they do the "Spectra-Magic Parade." They turn all of the lights off and the parade it totally lit up...Awesome! We watched part of it then left because storms were moving in and we didn't want to get soaked while trying to exit the mark with the masses.

Here is Garrett during the part of the parade we stayed for playing with a light-up sword:
Gunner LOVED feeding this duck that was just over the fence from where we "parked" for the parade. He shared his popcorn with the "quack-quack" and tried getting through the fence!
Grant and Garrett at the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. It, by the way, was super cool and the kids loved climbing up through it.
The boys and I...
This is just after we entered the park and we were heading to the castle to watch a little performance. I'm super glad we opted to bring our tandem stroller rather than just a stroller for Gunner. Although there were very few times when Garrett wanted to ride, there were many times (like when leaving the park) that we told him to get on because then both boys were accounted for and in our possession. Sounds mean, I know! And really, I am so used to pushing around 80lbs of kids on this thing that it wasn't bad at all. Grant complained a few times...but he hasn't had as much practice as me.
On a stroller side note...I was AMAZED at how many people had massive and OLD kids in strollers. Like really, super shocked the stroller still functioned. Seriously. I swear I saw a kid who had to be at least 8 in a stroller. (I feel like I'm taking part in the Really! stint on SNL!)

If you are going to WDW it is amazing and truly so well rehearsed on their part. There is stroller parking at every point that you would need to park a stroller and there are the workers that tend to monitor the stroller area, move them into shade as needed, keep them in neat rows, make sure no one is perusing through your stuff, etc. I was amazed...and I know I have used that word a lot, but it really was a very smooth operation.
